Rinse the bleeding area from mechanical contaminants with a disinfectant, apply the necessary amount of powder onto a sterile gauze or bandage, gently apply it to the bleeding area to stop it. It is recommended to secure the bandage to prevent licking and swallowing. After blood clotting, a powder lump forms at the bleeding site. If bleeding persists for a prolonged period, seek immediate veterinary attention.
